Thanks to a late start, I ended up riding to Pacific City by myself in the cold and dark. I am cold and tired but quite well and safe and my feet will thaw eventually, I'm sure. Anyway, I just wanted to let everybody know that rumors of my demise were greatly exaggerated. Tomorrow should be hella interesting. Right now, sleep beckons.

Joined: 14 Sep 2011. Tue May 26, 2015 7:10 pm. Here comes the problem: when the scoot was back on its feet, first I had no idle while it's cold. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the bike, nice acceleration, good gas mileage during the short period while I was riding it, etc. Took it apart again to see if there's any visible sign of leak because of the piston rings, or anything suspicious around the valves. Nothing. As far as I can tell, none of the valves are bent. Thanks a lot in advance,.
