http://oxfordbirder.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Birding in and around Oxford. Tuesday, 30 June 2015. There's a lot to cram in to the summer season if one is serious about one's butterflies and dragonflies! Climbing Corydalis - excuse my hand in the shot, it's the only way to get the autofocus to work! Whixall Moss Reserve, at first sight rather unassuming. A Large Heath during a rare moment when it settled. The pool with Peter checking out his back of the camera shots. Now it was just a question of getting some photos. We spent a while trying to p...

http://oxfordbirder.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

I picked it up as it flew reasonably low right over my head and off up the beach in the direction I'd just come from, banking as it did so and allowing me to get a good look at...
