Doug Gregory, the Chair of the SAE AS-4 Unmanned Systems technical committee for the UCS Architecture today announced that the UCS Architecture now covers all unmanned systems, not just aircraft. The next version of the UCS Architecture, to be published as AS6512, will be named the Unmanned Systems (UxS) Control Segment (UCS) Architecture. Dynamic Airspace - which can be extended to 'common operating picture'.
