The Alaska Dream Center was established in 2008 in Palmer, Alaska as a 501c-3 non-profit organization serving the state of Alaska. Is to reduce the incidences of substance abuse among the adult population of Alaska ages 18-59, by providing individuals with a safe environment to permanently overcome addictions controlling their lives. Is to be a part of the collaborative effort to address issues of moral decay, substance abuse, hunger, health-care, homelessness, and poverty that impact the state of Alaska.

The Alaska Dream Center requires residents to commit at least one full year to the program. A variety of options are available if the graduate wishes to participate in additional training and accountability. Orientation Phase (Three weeks). Residents attend classes that emphasize recognizing and changing destructive thoughts and beliefs, understanding the basic needs they were attempting to fulfill through chemical use, and learning practical tools that equip them to change their lives.
