Interested in our CSA? Harvest Sun Farm is based in New Knoxville, Ohio, a bucolic farming community on the border of Auglaize and Shelby counties. We are surrounded by farm fields and our region’s rich, agricultural heritage. We are proud members of the Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber of Commerce. Which represents the communities of New Knoxville, New Bremen, and Minster. We were honored and humbled to receive the Chamber’s annual “Community and Business Pride Award” for 2014. Interested in our CSA? Jeff and Deb Eschmeyer both grew up just down the road from what has become Harvest Sun Farm. High school sweethearts from farming families, neither us envisioned a career related to agriculture, food, or rural development upon graduating high school and college. We purchased our farm from Jeff’s grandmother in 2008, whose family has lived in our home since 1890, making us the fifth generation to farm our land! Deb getting early tractor training. Interested in our CSA? As a member of the Harvest Sun Farm CSA, members receive a weekly newsletter along with the great veggies. The CSA newsletter is sent via e-mail each week of the season and includes updates from the farm, recipes, and storage tips. It tells members what’s in the share for the current and coming week, and gives advice on how to handle and prepare all the veggies.
