Thursday, December 30, 2010. WE ARE HOMESTUDY READY! It is official- the state of Tennessee has approved us as potential parents! This should have been done about a month ago, but there were some bumps on the road. We got through it though with lots of prayers from friends and family. Within the next couple of weeks we should be activated as potential adoptive parents with American Adoption! I will let everyone know when that is! Is she young still in high school? Oh little one, where ever you are,.

Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Initial Home Study Interview. Everything went very well. We talked about how Lee and I met, and why we went the adoption route. She asked about which agency we were thinking about and we told her about the one in Utah. She said that that one was a good one and she has worked with families who adopted from there (which was a plus). Soso far what we have set up with the social worker is:. Then that afternoon, I will meet with her at 4:00 for my interview. Let's all pray for that!

Friday, June 17, 2011. Our Video Adoption Profile is finished! When Lee told me that we were going to put together an adoption video profile, I was excited and nervous. We asked some of our close friends to help us and participate, and they all came through. Unfortunately they didn't all make the final cut, but they are all still wonderful and we love them. My parents didn't even make the cut hahahaha! I hope that this video will get us closer to our baby. Thank ya'll for all of your prayers!
