Operation G.I. Jane, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is the first and only charity solely dedicated to supporting deployed, single mothers in the U.S. military. It was formed in 2010 by Defense contractor Jula Jane upon returning home from a business trip to Afghanistan. Jula visited several bases including Bagram Airfield, Camp Phoenix and NATO, and was moved to action. We have four main programs designed to keep the bond between deployed mothers and their children strong.
