The Troy Police Department has squeezed more than $66,000 in seat-belt fines from citizens since 2012, a review of public documents reveals. Eighteen lucky citizens received seat-belt warnings in 2012; 607 got the yellow slip. Just one fortunate citizen received a warning through mid-September; 501 got stuck with the fine.
