I breastfed both of my girls. Nakiah until she was 10months. She self-weaned. I started supplementing with formula when she was 5 months old. I wish I had listened to my heart and just kept EBF her. I let myself get swayed by what everyone was telling me I should be doing. Her I guess….we haven’t spoken since then. Creative parenting as a meditation. We just returned from a Waldorf School Craft Show. It’s part crafter vendors, part baked goods by parents and students, delicious healthy lunch with ingredients from local farms, part winter wonderland festivities for children. For the children they have puppet shows, crafts, and a gnome wonderland where they get to pick out three gifts (that are all natural, and created by the students (and maybe parents? Waldorf Schools are based on the teachings of Rudolf Steiner.
