I had a panic moment when I realized that J was supposed to be in that area shopping but I called and he was still in bed asleep. First part of mom's chemo was today (just the R from the R-CHOP.) she had weird shivery spasms all over her body. they had to stop the treatment for a while until everything settled down. she's feeling OK, if really tired tonight, so i guess it wasn't that bad. They're pretty positive that she won't make it to 2012. I have this gut feeling that when she dies, the grief will kill both my dad and grandmother as well. I think my brain is finally starting to get that who thing where she's going to live for a while. She sure doesn't look like she's going to keel over any time soon. It's a very aggressive lymphoma, and the prognosis with chemo is 1-7 years. Remission is possible, but not permanent with this form of cancer. She's some how twice as annoying as she was when she was just sick and in pain. I love her, I don't want her to die, and she still pisses me off. 2009-01-09 02:42 pm (UTC). Just another WordPress.com site. More on Quitting Smoking. February 25, 2011. So… lets do a break down…. I got a tape recorder. Mostly so I can record interviews for another blog I am starting, but this morning I decided it will have another practical use… recording every cigarette I smoke, and also, this terrible cough I have right now. If I do it right, I can keep those coughing sounds as a reminder of why I DON’T want to smoke. I have this awesome Rescue Remedy. More to come later…. February 24, 2011.
