Red Dog Designs: November 2009
http://redpooch.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 17, 2009. This is one of my new acrylic paintings from 2009. I am very proud of it. It is actually a collage, difficult to see from the photo. When creating the painting I first layer tissue paper onto the canvas with gel medium to suggest texture. Once satisfied with the layout, I paint the image over the top of the paper collage. Fun! I was thinking about using this image for Christmas cards this year. Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://redpooch.blogspot.com/2010/02/finally-some-progress-on-moose-alley.html
Sunday, February 7, 2010. Finally Some Progress on Moose Alley. I finally made time to work on the painting I started quite a while ago.from one of my favorite scenic spots in Grand Teton, Moose Alley. I am really thrilled with the progress.Today I worked with Turner's Yellow, white and Payne's Grey.mostly applying paint with a sponge. First I worked with the sky to give it some texture, then started to touch up the grasses in the forefront. February 10, 2010 at 6:45 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
