http://lazysusin.blogspot.com/2009/05/its-daringthat-i-tried-to-make-this.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2009. It's Daring.that I tried to make this strudel. The May Daring Bakers’ challenge. Was hosted by Linda of make life sweeter! And Courtney of Coco Cooks. They chose Apple Strudel from the recipe book Kaffeehaus: Exquisite Desserts from the Classic Cafés of Vienna, Budapest and Prague by Rick Rodgers. Things this challenge taught me: for goodness sakes, follow the directions! And that's all that counts in the end, right? Total: 2 hours 15 minutes – 3 hours 30 minutes. 30 min to bake.

Lazy Susin: Peanut Butter Puppy Poppers
http://lazysusin.blogspot.com/2009/05/peanut-butter-puppy-poppers.html
Monday, May 4, 2009. Peanut Butter Puppy Poppers. Where has my baking head been lately, you ask? With our new pup, Charlie. Having a dog in the house has been quite a handful, and between him and wedding planning, hasn't allowed a lot of time for baking! When I do manage to make it into the kitchen, I've been whipping up some organic dog treats for Charlie. Since we're taking him to obedience classes right now, he's getting so many treats! One of his favorites are these "Peanutbutter Puppy Poppers." ...

Exploring paradise and other terrifying life experiences. Monday, February 26, 2007. So this weekend i experienced my first cyclone. Yeah, that's right. Cyclone Gamede struck the Ile de la Reunion this weekend. Friday at school all the other teachers could talk about was how the cyclone was coming. You could look out at the ocean from my school and see the waves getting choppy. And what i replied was, "my family and friends of course! Yeah, that got their attention. The Germans are coming! Tuesday, October 31, 2006. My laptop is sitting cool and quiet on my windowsill, it has not been turned on for days. Because I can't turn it on! My power cord literally broke overnight, and it looks like I'll have to order a new one from America. So until then, its back to pen and paper, and I'll post when I can. But when I look...

Tuesday, September 25, 2007. I did an amazingly stupid thing yesterday. Something that usually only happens in movies - or so I thought. Then I'll go home and get it. I'll give you my Suica, my phone, my camera, my iPod. Posted by Adelle @ 9/25/2007. Arigato-san *Fuchu, Bubai(gawara) *Eigo? Mitaka-Shi, Tokyo, Japan. Fuji, Part II.

Sunday, January 28, 2007. When Adelle asked me to write a guest post last night, I thought, "oh, yeah, that'll be easy, I have so much to say." Which is true, but after a week of relative wordlessness, it is surprisingly hard to put my faith and feelings into language again. And I will miss Adelle! It has been so good to see her.

Thursday, October 25, 2007. The Collapse of a Giant. In about 1 hour it will be 12:01 am in Tokyo; the morning of October 25th, the day that Nova instructors have been promised their pay. Do I expect it? Nova has enough assests to weather any storm. Nova has such a huge market share that it couldn’t collapse. And other bad news.
