I Wear Milk Crowns: April 2015
http://kkaralius.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 19, 2015. These past few weeks, I made an important decision: the decision to move to a website, rather than just a blog. So, I won't be blogging here anymore. I have no plans on closing or redirecting I Wear Milk Crowns for now, though - I'm too sentimental! But for any new blog posts and news, please visit my new site:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I Wear Milk Crowns: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
http://kkaralius.blogspot.com/2014/12/the-most-wonderful-time-of-year.html
Wednesday, December 10, 2014. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Long time, no write! How are you doing? I've missed this blog. November flew by so quickly. NaNoWriMo tends to speed November up, but guys, it's already. December. I can barely catch my breath. The reason I'm able to write today is because of a cold. I woke up yesterday morning with a pounding headache and a sore throat. This morning, it was a stuffy nose and earache, due to a buildup of congestion. References as I share how that went.

I Wear Milk Crowns: Tampa Bay Times: Festival of Reading
http://kkaralius.blogspot.com/2014/10/tampa-bay-times-festival-of-reading.html
Sunday, October 26, 2014. Tampa Bay Times: Festival of Reading. Halloween is my favorite time of the year. There is no better holiday, to me, than one where we run around ringing doorbells, lugging around garbage bags full of candy, pennies, and dental floss (didn't that happen to you? While ghoulish skeletons and vampires try to scare us. What Could. Be. Better? The man. The legend. R.L. Stine being brilliant. Organizes the Festival of Reading. I'm so used to not. Instead of a series of panels, the Fest...

I Wear Milk Crowns: The Call: Told in GIFs
http://kkaralius.blogspot.com/2014/07/the-call-told-in-gifs.html
Friday, July 11, 2014. The Call: Told in GIFs. So Swoon Reads did the thing: announcing the next two books on its second list. And guess who made it. This day has been crazy exciting. I've had to keep this news a secret for what seemed like an eternity, and now it's finally out! My manuscript previously called WE COULD FALL IN LOVE has been given a great new title: LOVE FORTUNES AND OTHER DISASTERS. And it will be in stores on June 9th, 2015. You can read the official announcement here. 2 Initial reactio...

I Wear Milk Crowns: The Very Last 2014
http://kkaralius.blogspot.com/2014/12/the-very-last-2014.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. The Very Last 2014. Tonight is the perfect night to reflect on 2014 - that year full of big changes and surprises. The year that seemed as if it'd never end. A few things happened on the way to 2015 that I hadn't been able to blog about until now. This is the perfect time to share them with you. In 2014, the best news I could have ever hoped for arrived: my debut novel is being published! Even though I have indeed blogged about The Call. Have kept me busy. Which is pretty co...

I Wear Milk Crowns: Disney's Flower & Garden Festival 2014
http://kkaralius.blogspot.com/2014/04/disneys-flower-garden-festival-2014.html
Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Disney's Flower and Garden Festival 2014. There's nothing more rewarding after finishing a big project than celebrating its completion in style. Thankfully, Disney always has something fun planned this time of year: Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival. Epcot typically has a lot of flowers all year round, but the festival paints the entire park in vibrant colors (and mosquitoes, due to the sudden change to hot weather). The Festival Center was abuzz with presentations from gardeners...

I Wear Milk Crowns: March 2015
http://kkaralius.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 22, 2015. Disney's Flower and Garden Festival 2015: Let the Fun Begin. IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN. After missing Disney's Food and Wine Festival for the first time in forever (it still haunts me), I swore that nothing on this planet would stop me from attending Epcot's other annual festival: Disney's International Flower and Garden Festival. Attracted to her (she's like a Bella Swan for devilish insects). So all the beautiful flowers can be a (funny) obstacle course at times. With only one day to...

I Wear Milk Crowns: Birdcage Girl
http://kkaralius.blogspot.com/p/birdcage-girl.html
Birdcage Girl by Kim K. on Grooveshark. Here's a land beyond the front door. Near where the bike leans. It's like a good dream. In the dark you hold me. And we go slow dancing. Like we're in a movie. The land near where the bike leans". Lisa Mitchell, "The Land Beyond the Front Door.". Just like any self-indulgent writer, I had to put together an imaginary cast, haha. If you have an Pinterest account, you can take a peek at some images that have inspired me while working on Birdcage Girl. Drop me a line.

I Wear Milk Crowns: Challenge of the Pantser: NaNoWriMo 2014
http://kkaralius.blogspot.com/2014/11/challenge-of-pantser-nanowrimo-2014.html
Sunday, November 2, 2014. Challenge of the Pantser: NaNoWriMo 2014. The weirdest part about participating in NaNoWriMo is that the rest of the world only sees the next 30 days as "November." Non-writers continue to do laundry, eat, scrub the bathtub, party with friends, NOT THINK ABOUT WRITING 24/7. I don't get them. Especially when I reach the halfway point in the month, and everyone around me is too cheerful. If you didn't catch the news on Swoon Reads. Then I'll say it again here. I am totally a:.
