North Perth - Optimism Place ~ Women's Shelter and Support Services in Stratford

At this time, North Perth does not have its own shelter for area women and children fleeing abusive relationships. North Perth does, however, have a Violence Against Women Resource Centre which offers various support services. Women and children in need of safe and protective housing are welcome to stay at the Stratford-based shelter for up to 8 weeks or more. Free transportation from North Perth can also be arranged. They bring babies with no diapers, kids with no shoes and hearts with no hope.
