It was not only the first time I have ridden since the surgery, but the first time I have ridden in 2 years. (Can I crawl under the rug and hide now? That's so very embarrassing to admit. She ran the 800 first, and was ready to go home when she finished. She'd walked part of it and she was embarrassed. She cried. She complained. She begged.
