Trim off any ends, cut to desired shape and size. Wash with cold water. Drain. In a saucepan, bring the brine to a boil. In a separate pan, sterilize canning jar and lid in boiling water 5 minutes. My sister jacki is making our cake and (with my sister midge) throwing me a shower. plus jacki's hosting 3 of the guests at her house. she's really way too kind. i'm feeling guilty. moving on. Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Melvin and I love making pizza dough from scratch. It's super-tasty, crazy-cheap, and really easy. After a few months of experimentation, I think we nailed down the perfect pizza crust. 1 cup warm water. 25 cups flour (all purpose, whole wheat, or any combo). 2 tblsp (olive or other) oil. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine the dry ingredients with a wooden spoon or in mixer with dough hook. Mix in any fresh herbs. i. Add oil and yeast-water slowly. Honor: Our Little World.
