Darlin and Her Crew. June 21, 2010. Weather Hold – Santa Barbara. Jeff needed to refresh his beer suppy, so we unpacked the bikes. We found some reasonable quick eat local places over the next few days and ate a burger at the yacht club one night, as well as thier happy hour snacks. Encinal Yacht Club Coastal Sail Race. We did enjoy the weather and scenery. And sampled some of the local quisine. Relaxing with a cold one on the aft deck. And enjoyed a few libations. Here Happy Hour goes on! On July 2, 2010.

Darlin and Her Crew. June 19, 2010. Crossing into the US. We crossed without incident and headed for the the Police Dock to clear customs and immigration. We arrived at 16:00, walked up the dock and called for inspection on the courtesy phone. They advised they would arrive in about thirty minutes. The oil guage never dropped below twenty pounds. The boat will be moored in Craig, with access to the famous offshore fishing near Waterfall Resort. We will cruise south in July on the outside of Vancouver Island and visit remote Nooksak Sound and Barkley sound before returning in September. We arrived in Ensenada nearly 2 months ago and I haven’t posted a blog since we got here…I am going to hammer out a couple of posts to get us all up to date…for all my wine loving friends, there is a great Sangria recipe in this one so don’t skip ahead!
