Summer Abroad: Day 21
http://mikellsullivan-summerabroad.blogspot.com/2007/07/day-21.html
Sunday, July 1, 2007. Today we went to Versailles. What a massive place! The only bummer is that we were all so exhausted and we had the most up-tight, mean, old, and not to mention, boring, tour guide! It was great though to finally see some fabulous interiors! I’m sure the gardens would have been my favorite ones if it wasn’t freezing cold and raining the whole time. Afterwards we went to the Eiffel Tower and went all the way to the top! The Hall of Mirrors. It was just re-opened yesterday!

Sunday, February 20, 2011. Dingle, Ireland The Flaherty Motherland. This is what I always pictured Ireland to be like.misty, green, cold, lots of cliffs. The Cliffs of Moher. I told Terri to look for our ancestors, we don't seem to be able to find anything after Hugh Flaherty, but. She didn't have much time for looking, so this was as close as she got, from the car. O'Flaherty's pub with the family crest. The Flaherty clan has a reputation for being ferocious. Of course, so do most old Irish clans! It on...

Friday, June 10, 2011. A view from our flat at 1030pm. This lab at Cambridge is where they discovered the double helix of DNA. the picture below is the entrance to the labs. Cool Cambridge street, watch out, there are a ton of bike riders. Inside the Kings Church with a look at the glass and Vaulted ceilings. The organ in the middle. The coolest flower I have seen in England. This was All Saints church, it had William Morris designs, so check out the different patterns on the walls. Posted by Terri James.
