Felicity: March 2009
http://felicityoftheheart.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. This is Your Time. By Michael W. Smith. It was a test we could all hope to pass. But none of us would want to take. Faced with the choice to deny God to live,. For her, there was one choice to make. This was her time. this was her dance. She lived every moment. Left nothing to chance. She swam in the sea; drank of the deep;. Embraced the mystery of all she could be. This was her time. Though you are mourning and grieving with us,. Death died a long time ago;. Oh what would you say?

O Lord, I am oppressed, be my security. Isaiah 38:14 (when I'm feeling insecure, HE is my security. Well, He should always. Be my security, but especially when I'm feeling insecure). It is You who has kept my soul from the pit of nothingness,. For You have cast all my sins behind your back. Links to this post.

Felicity: September 2009
http://felicityoftheheart.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 29, 2009. My stinging knees and perfect bangs. Ever since I've gotten new bangs, I have to spend about 30 minutes on my knees in front of the mirror blow drying and straightening my curly locks into sleek perfection. Including make-up and miscellaneous hair-dressing, this is about 45 minutes. As you can imagine, my knees have taken quite a scraping, they've turned dry and red and cracked. But what stung more than my knees was the realization in my heart. Lord, please forgive me. In an ...

Felicity: A scriptural breakdown...
http://felicityoftheheart.blogspot.com/2010/02/scriptural-breakdown.html
Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Life has gotten a little more difficult lately. For in reality, my life is soo wonderful. So much love in my family. I'm so blessed. My parents spoil me as much as they are able. They protect me. And teach me. And guide me. And I know this. But sometimes, without warning, my heart hurts. That's when the spiritual battles begin. Unable to be explained, except for an unrest festering in my soul. When in the midst of a Spiritual battle. But then, I picked up my Bible. Verse 6, ...

Felicity: Small Hard Things...
http://felicityoftheheart.blogspot.com/2009/12/small-hard-things.html
Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Lately I've been feeling insignificant. I'm sure you've heard me say before that I'm ready for my next adventure! And I am. But it's not coming. I'm still here, doing the dishes, visiting my great Aunt and doing secretarial work for my dad's business. All of these are good things, I know that fully, but sometimes they feel so.well, insignificant. This morning I picked up Do Hard Things. By Alex and Brett Harris and read a chapter called Small Hard Things. When the boat final...

Felicity: Life, when lived by faith...
http://felicityoftheheart.blogspot.com/2010/02/life-when-lived-by-faith.html
Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Life, when lived by faith. But we are not. Of those who shrink back. But of those who have faith. To the preserving of the soul. Be like our forefathers,. Who lived and died. In the name of the Lord. Who by faith conquered kingdoms. Performed acts of righteousness. Shut the mouths of lions. The power of fire. Escaped the edge of the sword. From weakness were made strong. Became mighty in war. And put foreign armies. Life lived in faith is a life of POWER. Have faith in HIM.

Felicity: Another book...
http://felicityoftheheart.blogspot.com/2009/12/another-book.html
Tuesday, December 1, 2009. I just finished a fabulous book today: Wild at Heart by John Eldredge. A very interesting and enlightening read. This book is about the hearts of men and how they are wild and free and totally meant to be that way. God created men and women differently, inside and out, we're different creatures with different desires and inclinations. This book brings out those differences and sheds a godly and scriptural light on them. So is a scalpel. It can wound or it can save your life.
