Life among the lizards. I just thought I'd share some of our green and growing plants here from November and December. This is our papaya plant that I started from seeds over a year ago. We've been enjoying harvesting our own papayas.used mainly in fruity drinks. I started lettuce about 2 weeks before Matt and Diana's visit and we were able to harvest it for one of the meals we shared with them. This is called a shrimp plant.I don't know why. Finally, the rest of the DC trip. Finally, the 2nd installment.

Life among the lizards. 1st Day of 6th Grade. DC Trip Part 1. Installment 1 of our Washington DC trip (after being shamed due to my lack of postings). The rest of the day we were walking around the mall. David calculated that we walked 4.5 miles by the time we finished (and that didn't include time in any buildings or museums). MLK Jr monument seen across the Tidal basin with Lincoln Memorial visible over trees. Tallis with statue of FDR's dog at the FDR memorial. At the "back door" of the White House.

Life among the lizards. Three lizard incidents all in one week:. We took down the microwave/exhaust fan combo over our stove this last week (microwave start button wouldn't work, was too close to the stovetop) and behind it was a mummified lizard's body. Even more bizarre was that it's legs stuck out underneath the microwave and previous owners had actually painted over the legs. Life among the lizards indeed. Life among the lizards. My how time flies. How long can you live in Florida before going to Disney? In our case, the answer turned out to be 92 days. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. We had the pleasure of attending B's baptism. It was great to see the kids play together so well despite the fact that they really don't see each other very much, something I hope to change in the future, or at least be better about. I felt many emotions over the weekend. Thank you Matt and Diana and girls for a great weekend - we miss you already. E is already missing Bennett and craving the warmth that comes with holding a baby! Can't wait to see you again soon.
