Sunday, October 18, 2009. Today, on my 8th day of fasting,. My wounded self feels awakened. A thousand pieces of me. Mixed with blinding lights of tangerine. Of mushroom flash to bang. Seeking comfort in discomfort. I can feel myself at this moment. A heart worn and torn. It is gentle, it is warm. It is noble in its humblest weakest state. It is real in its fate. I do not feel anything hard within. Only softness, only tenderness. I cling on this vulnerability of my insides. As I seek ease within distress.

While my body feels weak for fast pace. My mind seems more alert. My walk is slow, my steps are surer. My energy well maximized-. I observe more before I act. I listen first, before I speak. This day is marked with awareness. I seem more aware of what I am doing. Before I am doing it. Right now I am sitting. I could actually feel the chair.
