http://fontainefamilythoughts.blogspot.com/2011/03/i-touched-dirt.html
Saturday, March 12, 2011. It's a true sign of Spring to come when I can plant these hardy little ones.I'm so very much looking forward to planting and working in my yard this Spring.I can hardly stand it! Last year we moved in right as spring was starting and so I got to know all the shrubs and bulbs planted in my yard.and then this past Fall I decided to add to the bulbs and planted 100 more throughout. If you look REALLY close you can see the first little bulbs starting to poke thru. Nice pics, Ang!

Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Today was Cam's preschool picnic and we all met at the park to enjoy this amazing weather and give thanks for a wonderful year in Preschool! I have loved taking Cam to Sonshine Kids, and he has loved being there! Teacher Erin releasing a butterfly that the kids watched grow from a caterpillar in their classroom the past few weeks. Taking a break from "tag". Yahhh for preschool =). Ode to "me", well, and Grangie, my mom, and Auntie Nicole! Happy Mother's Day to us all! I have a ne...

http://fontainefamilythoughts.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 16, 2011. We've been busy around here- these past few weeks have flown by with lots of fun activities and new experiences! First was Brandon's 8th birthday- we had such a great day celebrating him.I'm in awe of this young man who is growing up right before my eyes. He is growing up so fast, but will still let his mamma snuggle him at night when no one is loooking =) I'll take what I can get! The kids loved Seattle so much.I loved seeing their smiles and energy! The Paper Lady: August 2009
http://paperladyinvites.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Please excuse the mess. I am currently rearranging my blog. :). I've started to make a few things again. I think I'll make a few Halloween hats this year. This will be a continually updated blog post to watch my baby grow! Due to some complications, I've already had quite a few ultrasounds. So, here they are and check back for more! Eventually I plan to get a 3D ultrasound. Just a tiny little peanut. Tiny little alien at this point. Starting to look a little more human. She was jumping all over the place.

Thursday, March 31, 2011. What does it mean to be a "good" mom? Does it mean you want to do better than your own mother did? Or the grandmother who helped influence you? Or is it a desire to be different than your friends? And where does the confidence come from when your a mother? Do you find it from your childhood or from the environment around you? Does being a good mother mean you have warmth? Compassion from deep within? Are a good homemaker? Can you make a rocking meatloaf that everyone will eat?

Emerald Life: Talking to Strangers
http://seaball.blogspot.com/2014/11/talking-to-strangers.html
Wednesday, November 05, 2014. Blake came to work with me today. After patiently playing in the big room outside my office, we had a lovely walk around Tangletown and a donut at Mighty-O. We passed a number of people walking, coming and going from their homes, and at each sighting Blake hollared, "HI! Usually multiple times until the person acknowledged him. Emerald Life: The Ballard "Up" House
http://seaball.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-ballard-up-house.html
Friday, October 24, 2014. The Ballard "Up" House. I've walked or driven by this house a number of times, knowing only that a little old lady refused to sell to developers. It's my understanding that this story was the inspiration for the animated movie "Up." It's interesting to know more of the story. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Festival of Hope.
