About Lay Litigation Ireland. Lay Litigation Ireland was established in 2013 in response to a growing need to support those in Litigation either as defendants in civil cases or plaintiffs in civil cases. LLI Identified a need for those individuals who could not afford professional legal representation and set about implementing training courses accompanied with Litigation Support. Later in 2013 and early 2014, mediation and negotiation facilities were added to the services that LLI offer.
