Orchid a Week by Dan. Every Week A New Orchid Culture, Habitat, and Other Fun Facts! Monday, February 7, 2011. The pendant spikes can hang as low as 18" with 6-10 flowers per spike. To me the flowers look like a dragons head as it is about to take a big bite out of something. Gongora are in the tribe Maxillarieae. And the subtribe Stanhopeinae. Which just so happens to be the same subtribe as Stanhopea, and it just so happens that it attracts the same euglossine bee. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Adirondack Flower Farm: Weddings & Events
http://adirondackflowerfarm.blogspot.com/p/weddings-events.html
A good portion of the cut flowers I grow are for my event work. Last season I did more than 40 weddings and events. Eco-minded brides love my flowers because they smell like real flowers, they are not grown with synthetic fertilizers or harsh chemicals and they are local. I have designed for very large weddings or intimate gatherings. My mason jar flower designs are very affordable and are great for all occasions not only weddings but for graduation parties, retirement dinners and so much more.
