Randy's Craft: LARP Chest
http://randyfow.blogspot.com/2015/08/larp-chest.html
Monday, August 10, 2015. I made this chest for my son and I to share at LARP. I made a removable center divider in case we need one big chest. It also doubles as a sitting stool in the tent. Posted by Randy Carboni. August 13, 2015 at 4:30 AM. You are such a great craftsman Randy. Wish I had the sense of precision youve got. Are you going to put a finish on the chest? Or are you going to let it weather? Maybe a distressed finish would be cool. August 13, 2015 at 11:26 AM. American War for Independence.

http://randyfow.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 22, 2014. New LARP boffer Shield. Just finished making a n new shield. This will be my son's fourth and final shield. If he wants another he will have to build it himself. This new shield goes with his new LARP outfit. Posted by Randy Carboni. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. With left over material I decided to make fur lined bracers for LARP. My wife helped by sewing it together for me. With these and the hat I will be nice and toasty for the next LARP. Posted by Randy Carboni.

Randy's Craft: October 2014
http://randyfow.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Went tot he CT Renaissance faire. Over the weekend. We always have a good time when we go. We came across a group of Templars who gave us good info on wear to buy helmets and pauldrons. Also a must see is the Landsknecht. My son is interested in doing a landsknecht costume so we talk to them for a while. They were very nice and most helpful. We were also told we could contact them if we have any more questions. Randy's Craft: February 2015
http://randyfow.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 3, 2015. I decided to make juggling balls for LARP. I looked online and found a pattern that I liked. I cut the football shaped piece out of board stock then traced it on old t-shirts from the rag bin. I then sewed two and a half sides together and then turned it inside out. Then I cut a yogurt container into shape so I could pour sand into the hole. I saved the sand in this clam shell container and worked on the top area so I wouldn't get sand all over the table. Randy's Craft: 40K Skull Gas Mask
http://randyfow.blogspot.com/2015/06/40k-skull-gas-mask.html
Monday, June 29, 2015. 40K Skull Gas Mask. Now that the chainsword is in the painting stage it is time to work on the skull covered gas mask. We happened to have a gas mask that we modified a little and with the EVA foam we cut out the skull cover. We are going to add fabric to the gas mask to make it wrap around the head like the minis and then glue on the skull. This is what we have so far. Posted by Randy Carboni. Randy's Craft: July 2014
http://randyfow.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 21, 2014. Okay, now back to LARP. This time we are making a boffer spear. The head will not look spear like but safety first. The tip needs to be bigger than an eye socket. Even though head shots are not allowed, accidents do happen. We started off by hot gluing pipe foam over 3/4" PVC pipe. Even though the spear is for jabbing only we went with the thicker pipe to reduce whip. Next we added a couple of layers of foam to the end. Posted by Randy Carboni. Saturday, July 19, 2014.
