The Oregon Coast Birding Trail was funded by grants, sponsorships, and advertisements. The private businesses, government agencies, conservation organizations, chambers of commerce, and visitor and convention bureaus gave funds to the project because they are committed to making wildlife tourism sustainable on the coast. This blog will give me a chance to share with the Web public more of these interesting and quirky facets. Thursday, September 25, 2008. Heceta Head Lighthouse, Oregon Coast. Oregon Coast Blogger | Oregon Coast Vacations and Attractions
Oregon Coast Vacations and Attractions. Salmon Fishing in the Siltcoos. This weekend is a special weekend. My youngest son and I are fishing for salmon (coho salmon) in the Siltcoos. The Siltcoos Lake and River are located just a few miles south of Florence, Oregon, just off of highway US101. The weather is beautiful – sunny, with temperatures in the 60s. Quite rare for weather in November on the coast. But we will take it. This entry was posted in Fishing. November 25, 2011. Proudly powered by WordPress.
