Tuesday, September 1, 2009. We are now in Thailand. After leaving Nepal, we went by train to Calcutta, where we stayed for almost 3 weeks. The reason for staying there so long, was to get a student card and than get a 40 $ Plain ticket to Bangkok. Calcutta was an amazing place, full of puzzling people, temples and traffic chaos. But we liked it, and it was quite a shock, to arrive in a totally different culture, somewhat more Western than India, but equally magic and exciting. A funny visual blog.

Sunday, February 17, 2008. It was a cold and sunny day. Pakistan was wild. We liked to chase the big birds away, it was great to see them take of,. Circle around and come back. We ended up at the edge of town. When we climbed the hill on the edge of town, there was ditch on the other side, where . The locals dropped their dead animals. There were growling dogs and vultures everywhere. The first horse drawn riksha. Our first experience with a horse riksha. We felt sorry for the horse. A goats head anyone?

Monday, September 15, 2008. Werner in his Element. Werner was right in his element, taking lots of pictures, everywhere you looked another picture. The temples, the gods the valley.
