Saturday, November 29, 2008. Austin's Birthday and Turkey Day. For Austin's 14th Birthday we went to Carlsbad State beach to camp for two nights. He brought his two good friends Nate and Logan. And Austin had some surprise guests from Utah, Grandma Sue and Grandpa Steve. The weather was beautifuul. Luckily we escaped the rain just in time. On Thursday we had Thanksgiving at our house with Mike and Kasey (and their kids), and Grandma and Grandpa Steve. Yummy! Thursday, November 6, 2008. Quote of the day.

Monday, February 2, 2009. Ashley has her permit and is driving now. Ask Mark about this one. Put it this way, he was not meant to be a driving instructor. She wouldn't let me take a picture of her behind the wheel so instead I put some other embarassing photos of her. Like Sleeping with her bottle with her butt in the air, and. Eating spaghetti, And. Tuesday, March 3, 2009. Garden Road had their annual "Girls night out". Mark and I took the girls. They had fun dancing, doing crafts, eating ice cream Sundaes and Limbo. Another Boys night out. Mark took Austin to see the Harlem Globetrotters. Fun! Mark and Austin hiked to Iron Mt. here in Poway. They had a blast. Next trip will be with the whole family. It's 3 miles up and 3 miles down;Might take a bit longer with Kylie and Kendall. VIEW FROM TOP OF MOUNTAIN. Waterfall on the way up the mountain.

Monday, June 1, 2009. Replica of the resolute desk. For sale $6,000. There were so many interesting things to see. There were tons of original letters and documents. The most interesting one to me was the letter he wrote to Mrs. Kennedy after her husband was assasinated. There was also the return letter she sent back to him. Very interesting.
