Digital cameras and platforms have made it easier for anyone with a camera to take amazing pictures. The quality of images that are being snapped today. Does that mean that anyone can take a good photograph? Of course not. Professionals look beyond the actual picture,. Anyone can claim to be a photographer, but don't just claim it too loudly to those of us who are schooled in the art.

Monday, January 30, 2012. I have been working on a documentary that has to do with the sport of boxing. I won't get into the details here because I don't want anyone to steal the idea, you'll just have to wait until August. He won his 10th fight in a row this past Saturday in New York, his 9th knockout in his young pro career. Tomorrow night is the first ever Boxing event at the Amway Arena and features a heck of a bout with 3 time Champion Miguel Cotto from Puerto Rico taking on Dominican challenger Delvin Rodriguez. These two are evenly matched and this promises to be an incredible bout. Add that Miguel is bringing in Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach and this has all the makings of a brighter future for Cotto. Both fighters made weight and are confident they will be victorious.

Sunday, November 24, 2013. Scouting at the Zoo. Last evening both boys had the opportunity to attend the “Wild Night” boy scouts campout event at the Sanford Zoo. Both dens attended and the turnout was pretty good considering this would be a fairly short event. Each group stopped at predetermined check points and saw such critters as scorpions, owls, Madagascar hissing roaches, alligators, porcupines, cougars and a fully loaded bat house. The time passed fairly quickly, and then it was back to camp.

Saturday, February 4, 2012. A few weeks back I was suppose to film a Delta rocket launching from Cape Canaveral but due to scheduling issues, I was unable to attend. So whats a photographer to do? Well, just shoot it from the front yard as it will surely be bright enough to see from 45 miles away. These rockets are usually pretty cool to watch during the daytime when the smoke trail rises and spreads across the sky, but I wasn't quite sure what to expect after sunset.
