I have long suspected that my cat hated my laptop. probably because I pay attention to it when I should be showering her with attention/treats (mostly treats). I have given chunks of my salary to Slayer (yes), Megadeth (awesome), Stone Temple Pilots (admittedly a little lame but WHATEVER, internet), and Aussie Pink Floyd Show (for the fourth time). This is a Canadian movie directed by Bruce McDonald. If more movies like this come out of Canada, the impact would be phenomenal. The fact that it is such a solid film that was filmed on a comparatively TINY budget over only three days speaks volumes to the talent of those involved. Can be seen on the Empire Theatres website.

Oscar The Goose
On May 18, 2008, we found a bright yellow baby gosling floating around in our pool. He probably went for a drink, fell in, and was too small to get himself back out. We had to use a net to catch him as he was quite the little swimmer! After an extensive search for his family, we realized his mom probably abandoned him. It did not take more than the sound of his adorable little feet walking across the tile floor before he became part of the family.
