Arts and Crafts Rendezvous. My feel-happy space on the web to document all my creative expressions and ideas. May 19, 2008. There is a song in every painting. I love Chinese instrumental music. Those slow melodious sleepy numbers drift me into a completely beautiful world. Painting and music are the two big life supports I have. Everytime I paint, I have some good music playing in the background. It helps me get dreamy, paint better and feel at peace :). Music has that magic in it. Old mcdonald had a farm.

Highlife hat seinen Ursprung in der Kolonialzeit, er entstand ursprünglich in Ghana, wo die englischen Kolonialherren einheimische Musiker an europäischen Instrumenten ausbildeten, um eigene Kapellen aufspielen zu lassen. Die High Society in Westafrika, sprich die oberste Gesellschaftsschicht, tanzte zu dieser Musik daher leitet sich der Namen ab. Oft spielen Bläser oder Gitarren die Hauptrolle beim Highlife.
