Order of St. John, Knights Hospitaller. Contact Us or Donate. We are an Order steeped in tradition and history. The co-Cathedral of St. John, in Valletta, Malta. When the Crusaders stormed the gates of Jerusalem in 1099 they found a hospice dedicated to St. John. Which had been established by merchants from Amalfi for the purposes of caring for the sick and poor of the area, including pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land. They supported and reinforced the hospice and named the organizers Hospitallers.

Individual donations from members enabled the Commandery to send care packages to troops serving in Afghanistan. Twenty four boxes of supplies were gathered and sent in time for Christmas to 2nd Platoon, 3rd Batallion, 5th Marines. Commander Claytor and young helpers loading the boxes. Director Fred Gusman (right) accepts a check on behalf of the Pathway Home. The Commandery also presented funds to the NCEFT.
