You suffered from an amputation of a leg, most likely an above knee amputation, and this has meant a dramatic change of your life and lifestyle. This website illuminates a relatively new method available for rehabilitation after amputation, the so-called Integral Leg Prosthesis (ILP). Also known as the Endo-Exo-Femur-Prosthesis. If you, one of your relatives or somebody you know would like to have more information about the ILP procedure I am very willing to give more advise in a one-to-one interview.

Osseointegration is discovered in the 1950s by professor Per-Ingvar Branemark and refers to the nature of human bone cells to attach to a metal surface. Osseointegration is used for permanent anchorage of an artificial limb to the human skeleton. In a surgical procedure a metal (titanium) implant is inserted into the bone of the arm or leg and this implant penetrates through the skin. The artifical limb (prosthesis) is attached to this implant with a connector. Stable and safer standing and sitting.
