The Oswestry Museum Project has come about through the work of the Heritage Open Days committee which after holding a successful event in 2010 (to be followed up in Sept 2011) looked towards the idea of an Oswestry Museum to tell the story of Oswestry whilst providing a hub for information to several other amazing local heritage sites. At the time of writing, we are working closely with Oswestry Town Council and Shropshire Council Museums Service to help bring this about.
