A colleague of mine found this app which can pre-install drivers from the command line in Windows XP. SetupCopyOEMInf.exe is very useful for updating drivers on remote machines, PC build scripts or pre-installing drivers for use later. See the post by Pyron on the page below. I found this handy little tool called inifile.exe which did just the job. You can download it here. Simple little script to install and register fonts in Windows XP, all the fonts need to be listed in a fontinst.ini file (located in the same directory as the fontinst.exe. REM Copying the all TTF files from W: Fonts to the local machine. COPY "W: Fonts *.TTF" "C: WINDOWS Fonts " /Y. REM Registers the fonts listed in fontinst.inf, so they can be seen in Word, Powerpoint etc. W: Fonts fontinst.exe" /F fontinst.inf.
