Private vehicles are only allowed up to the 15 mile post. There are several ways to explore the park. We chose the green bus which allows you to get on and off to explore the many stops along the way. We wait at the bus stop (equipped with camera, binoculars, water and snacks…yeah…you gotta have snacks! Near the Savage River Campground for the bus to pick us up.
