Sunday, December 22, 2013. Nearly time to celebrate! We’ve been wrapping gifts (super cute gift bow template from here. 8230;having first adventures on the sewing machine (first time on the sewing machine for both boys! They sewed a Christmas house each, completely by themselves – from selecting the fabric, cutting the pieces, sewing on the button door-handle, and using the machine. I supervised and hand-sewed the opening closed when they finished. So proud of them! House idea from here. Lying in a manger.

Monday, July 21, 2014. We had such a wonderful time on our mini-holiday in Hobart! The weather was fabulous…although freezing cold, we had sunshine nearly the whole time. And the little bit of rain we did have was well worth the gorgeous rainbows! So much brighter than this photo…). We drove down via the East Coast, stopping first at Meetus Falls. The boys thought the waterfall was awesome. The track to the falls was really steep and slippery, but the falls were stunning. Saturday was The Barn Market!
