July 3rd, 2007. A large porcupine (Hystrix africaeaustralis) was spotted last night (Monday 2 July) in the field across the way from The Wild Fig Restaurant, on the banks of the Liesbeek. Security guard, Freddy Kabunda, was lucky enough to see the porcupine from quite close. I have asked him to be on the lookout for porcupines whilst on patrol. On Saturday the 11th of March, 20000, Noel, Naomi and Ivan went skiing at the Frisco Recreational Center. We took a trail called Buzz Saw which climbed up from 9,100 feet to nearly 10,100 feet overlooking Lake Dillon in parts and Swan Mountain in other parts. This is a view as we stopped on the way back down the Buzz Saw trail. Noel (left) and Ivan (right) as Naomi used our Kodak DC265 camera to snap a photo. The temperature was around 30 degree's and the sun was shining brightly.
