Thursday, July 17, 2008. Cooler Phase 4: The Drain. Drain fitting close-up. You can see the remains of the masking tape I used to protect the fitting while caulking. Drain fitting seen from the top of the cooler. Trap and tailpipe. I had to grind a little off the front end of the port engine bed in order to make it fit. Close up of trap and tailpipe. Ordering a new bracket from Garhauer, but in the meantime, I managed to coddle together a duct-tape-and-bailing-wire fix. 3 5/16" 18 TPI holes with hex cap screws. Tuesday, April 29, 2008. Bebe bought me some cockpit cushions for xmas. These are pix of them in action. They are awesome. Stoked! They were made by Chris Ford Yacht Canvas in Annapolis. Saturday, June 13, 2009. WNR was canceled on wednesday due to lack of breeze and thunderstorms. We were the first to bail. Looked like geniuses. We were nearly to the mooring by the time they called it. Christina got hold of my camera, and here are the resulting pix:. Joy learning how to trim the main and work the traveler.
