Sunday 26 April 2009. Dudley met Cassie properly for the first time today. (photos in Dudley's gallery 4). I say 'properly' because the first time they met, Cassie was up on blocks and out of the water so that doesn't really count. Dudley, quite understandably, doesn't do ladders, so he couldn't get on board then. Today, the weather was fine, but not too warm and we thought we'd take the plunge (so to speak! Dudley's finally made the aquaintance of Cassie! He seemed to take to it very well. We've added a blog to the boat section of the site which we'll update regularly. Many boaters where busy cleaning the inside and out side of their boats getting ready to go out on the river again. The weekend was lovely, the weather warm and the river calm. some boaters were too busy to take their boats out for the first cruise of the season.
