A few random photos to keep you smiling until my next post! Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Friday we went to town. There was a fine layer of ice pellets frozen on the window under all the frozen fog flakes that fell down on our van overnight. The frost crystals on everything sure made it look like a winter wonderland. The girls, Cheris...

Oh the places we'll go. We're off on the adventure of a lifetime! Saturday, November 24, 2012. It has been a while but I think it's time to dust off the ol' blog and give it another go. With a new look for a new season! First though, a tribute. We got him as a pup,. We named him Mad Max the Road Warrior, but just called him Max. He came with me everywhere, provided companionship when Logan was deployed,. And smiles and laughs always! He became much more regal looking as he grew. Can't say I blame him.

Just traveling through this life, learning what I can. Monday, March 23, 2015. Football and family celebrates Jess's birthday. Henry brought two footballs to indicate which teams were playing for the chance to go to the Super Bowl… Henry's Seahawks or Gramma's Packers? Quinn didn't really care. He just enjoyed the game. I changed into my Seahawks colors before he went to meet up with Jess and Joylynn and their kids to have a surprise birthday dinner for Jess. The Old Spaghetti Factory. It's sad to see.

Just traveling through this life, learning what I can. Friday, November 07, 2014. Our day trip and hike in the Shenandoah National Park. Our first stop was at the Skyview Lodge for breakfast. This is a beautiful structure with vaulted ceilings and a huge stone fireplace. The food was great and so reasonably priced. Portland prices are so high in comparison. I loved spending time in the gift shop and could have easily done all my Christmas shopping there if we had room to bring everything back! He "fed" t...

Oh the places we'll go. We're off on the adventure of a lifetime! Friday, November 15, 2013. Fantastic Fall (Part 2). October finished up nicely. We did some playing, waiting, and trick-or-treating! Three days a week I get mornings with just Evie. It's a pretty cool time. I don't usually have the camera with me but this sunny day I did. She told me this was a "giant rock". It's amazing how dad can increase bravery around here tenfold. As of the end of October Katie is training wheel free! One of my favor...
