We had started emailing the main lady back and forth and she asked if we were interested in kids older than babies. We said, "Yes" and she said that they had a birth mom ("M"). Saturday, October 1, 2011. Looking into Adoption- Part 2. This was a picture that was in our profile at this time. I remember the first birth mom our profile (basically a scrap book of letters and pictures of our family) was shown to. She had a baby that was 4 months old and I cried to Wes that I wanted her to choose us so bad. We were new at this experience and didn't know what to expect. She didn't choose our family and it was devastating! By spring 2010 we decided to open up our preferences to any race.

As you can see (by me not posting since we announced Ivy's birth) we have been busy. We can't get enough of our baby Ivy. She brings so much joy to all of our lives and we can't imagine life without her. We love you so much sweetie and can't wait to see how much you will change this next year. Isn't she just adorable? Ivy has such a cute personality and we just adore her.
