A Busy and Fun Summer. And this kid is starting to play better than his dad! A sad time for us. Uncle B picked out the best dog for our kids and we are truly thankful for that. Rudy stuck by Chad's side he knew who his master was. And with me only after dark we were friends. He loved sleeping in my spot every night. We will miss you Rudy! How is it already over? Hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas. We sure did! Spending time with family and enjoying our two weeks off from school has been so nice. The kids were blessed to get everything they wanted! Christmas with Nanny and Poppy and the gang at the lake. Summer's Christmas Party at school. Christmas at Grandma and Paw-Paw's. Luke's Fun Bus Birthday! For Luke's 4th birthday we rented The Fun Bus. We kept the party small because you never know with Luke. His only request was to not sing Happy Birthday and he didn't want a candle in the shape of a 4. Go figure! The kids had an hour of non stop fun. Happy Birthday Luke-we love you very much! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who donated and walked! We rocked the new shirts and our donations raised $1,800 for the foundation! Get ready for a picture overload.

We kicked off summer with a trip to the lake. We had a nice week. The weather was overcast which made the water so cold. At one point Summer wrapped up in her towel and played on her Kindle in the car while we swam. Austin would have stayed in the lake the whole trip. I swear Chad and Austin are immune to the freezing water! Meet the Teacher and 1st day of PK, 2nd and 4th! How has the school year already begun? I started my new school and I love it! We had the best time last weekend in New Orleans celebrating Mardi Gras. The kids loved staying with Nanny and Poppy and getting to spend time with their cousins. This post is long overdue like all my posts. We got Katy back in July and have enjoyed having a puppy back in our lives. The kids love her to death and now that she is potty trained I love her too!
