Sunday, August 29, 2010. Interior Stuff - getting ahead of ourselves! Oooooh, this is the wood burner we've chosen to keep us snug in the winter! And these are the floor tiles for the whole ground floor - quarried, cut and polished right here in the Lot! They're a bit expensive, but our excuse is that they're an investment -. Monday, August 23, 2010. It's off on one whole side - yay! Dave showing off the living room. Well, it will be a living room one day). Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Clive and Suzy on roof.

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Look at our roof now! Clive's been a busy boy - all the velux windows are in and he's started putting the tiles on! Interior shot - the floor has been covered with hardcore in readiness for the concrete which arrives on Tuesday. Excitement! The higher level as you walk in the barn is going to be our living room, then there'll be four/five steps down to the rest of the ground floor. Saturday, October 23, 2010. http://www.ourbarnatcarbonieres.blogspot.com/2011/06/that-beautiful-local-stone.html

Wednesday, June 8, 2011. That beautiful local stone. Is fantastic, is it not? Clive did the steps from the lounge to the kitchen level yesterday - aren't they gorgeous? Clive putting the floor tiles down in the living area - last but definitely not least! Perfectionist Suzie checking the just finished grout in the downstairs bathroom. Meanwhile, upstairs is taking shape thanks to many, many coats of white emulsion. I think I'll be washing it out of my hair for months to come.). Only 5 more sleeps.

The Coombe Cottage Blog: We've only gone and bought it

http://coombe-cottage.blogspot.com/2009/12/weve-only-gone-and-bought-it.html

The Coombe Cottage Blog. Friday, 11 December 2009. We've only gone and bought it. So the first post of this infinitely dull blog about the restoration of our infinitely broke. err. I mean. lovely new home. Bought at auction on December the 3rd 2009 we give you. Coombe Cottage. Photo by Andrew Snaden). Our plan is to fully repair, renovate and make it our family home so I thought I'd try and document the carnage along the way and share it with anyone who has the spare time to read this.

The Coombe Cottage Blog: Ehhhh Rat Fans!

http://coombe-cottage.blogspot.com/2011/04/rotten-rats.html

The Coombe Cottage Blog. Thursday, 7 April 2011. This opening up phase should be finished tomorrow and the structural report carried out early next week. Hopefully we can soon move on to the more interesting building and demolition stage where I'm sure there will be lots more dead rat fun. Our bedroom before. The arched beam arrangement in the centre of the room is the very, very rare cruck truss which, due to Death Watch beetle, has the same structural integrity as an Aero bar:. 7 April 2011 at 11:35.

The Coombe Cottage Blog: All systems go go go!!

http://coombe-cottage.blogspot.com/2011/03/all-systems-go-go-go.html

The Coombe Cottage Blog. Wednesday, 30 March 2011. All systems go go go! Firstly an apology for not posting anything on here for over a year. The long and boring reason for this is that it's taken nearly the whole year to get planning permission and we didn't want to prejudice the councils decision by spouting a load of (probably libelous) nonsense on here. The short (also boring) reason is that I'm very very lazy when it comes to this sort of thing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A hopefully intere...

The Coombe Cottage Blog: Completion

http://coombe-cottage.blogspot.com/2009/12/completion.html

The Coombe Cottage Blog. Tuesday, 22 December 2009. So we've had a rather unexpected Christmas present in the form of a tumble down house, yep we've completed on Coombe Cottage and she is officially ours! After I'd picked up the KEY (I think it deserves to be written in capitals) I popped over to the cottage, checked for leaky pipes (don't think there were any - shoes were dry) and took a couple of pics of the front in the minuscule amount of snow that the West Country has ground to a halt over. The Coombe Cottage Blog: Survey

http://coombe-cottage.blogspot.com/2009/12/survey.html

The Coombe Cottage Blog. Friday, 11 December 2009. While Nick did surveyory things around the house I took the opportunity to start my photo documentation project and got some quick snapshots. The house was shrouded in mist so there was very little contrast outside, not ideal photo conditions but hey ho. The mother-in law's bedroom (Doris in the bath, Jennie on the floor by the copper wash? The beer cellar/guest suite/air raid shelter. Ye Olde Public Bar? Our Barn Adventure

Friday, May 22, 2009. God sent a holy centipede to wake me up this morning so I didn't miss the sunrise. It was crawling on my face! A job well done. Sarah after she painted her treehouse - and herself. Pretending to be mad instead of smiling for the camera. Sarah painting her treehouse. Our Family Has Grown by Two Little Feet!

Our Family Has Grown by Two Little Feet. Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Seriously - don't blink. Barnes of Grace

Wednesday, June 26, 2013. So I want to post some before and after pictures that are real (because I have taken them and I know for sure they are not faked). Nerium is amazing and has a very cool history. Nerium does not spend millions of dollars on marketing. Why you ask? Well, all they have to do is show you their results and that has been enough to bring Nerium International, Inc to a $100,000,000 business in 1 year. You ask, well whats so great about it? 1 Week Later (in my bathroom at 5:00PM). I told...
