Sunday, April 4, 2010. On our way home, our neighbor texted to tell us our grocery store was having their egg hunt in ten minutes. We were right at the turn-off, so we whipped in, found a parking spot and the girls got in line. The place was PACKED! I think the store realized they didn't have enough eggs out, so they started bringing flats of pop and full-size candy bars and just throwing them out. Here's Carli realizing there was pop and BIG candy bars out there -. Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter!

Friday, January 20, 2012. We are LID almost 64 months ago- - That is more than 5 years ago. We did an interim adoption from Kazakhstan and brought home 2 beautiful children who we love to pieces. Kazakhstan was an INTERIM adoption. Not a replacement adoption. I know a child waits for us in China. Me and the kids.

Sunday, October 17, 2010. Kindergarten in full swing. The girls are LOVING school! The first month and a half they were soooo tired when they got home. Just completely exhausted! Friday, October 22, 2010. The girls are off for fall break Thursday and Friday, so we met up with Aunt Beth and Nana at an apple orchard to play, pick apples and pumpkins. It was a perfect fall day! The rotten apple slingshot. They decided two worked better than one. Love the pics of the girls! Can see the silly face one in Carlis Sr. annual! She really did a good job! Sunday, November 29, 2009. Happy Thanksgiving to all! I had to work on Thanksgiving, so Brian and the kids hung out and played Wii. And munched on junk food all day. :) Friday, after I did my annual Black Friday early morning run, Nana and Papa came over for a turkey dinner. That night we went up to Village Pointe. Said, "Did Santa fall off a cliff? She hadn't see Santa in the carriage and was adamant that he fell off a cliff. I think she's been playing too much MarioKart. Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
