Our Big African Adventure

Our Big African Adventure. Thursday, August 21, 2008. Back in SA Update. Apologies for the serious lack of blog updates! But here I am again to report that we are back safe and sound in SA. Before we left Lusaka, a team from St Martins Church, Bergvliet (the church we attend) joined us and spent about two weeks with Jesus Army Church. It was amusing for us to watch them adapt (or not) to the different culture! We travelled the 75kms from Vic Falls to Kasane, Botswana and found a very nice camp site momen...

Our Big African Adventure: Homeward Bound

http://ourbigafricanadventure.blogspot.com/2007/10/homeward-bound.html

Our Big African Adventure. Sunday, October 7, 2007. It was whilst we were in Benoni that the reality of our big African adventure coming to an end hit me. Amidst the tears that I shed, my precious heavenly Father gently began reassuring me that although one adventure was nearly over, the adventure of living life with Him would never end! I was incredibly consoled. Whilst Gordon buried himself under the bonnet in an endeavour to locate the source of the smoke (not just the water in the radiator boiling bu...

Our Big African Adventure: Final Update

http://ourbigafricanadventure.blogspot.com/2007/10/final-update.html

Our Big African Adventure. Monday, October 22, 2007. We have now been home for two weeks and are just about back to normal having sorted out the huge amount of stuff that came out of Klunka. We were away for exactly one week short of 6 months and the time really seemed to fly. We visited Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Malawi and Lesotho and had to negotiate 32 individual border posts. We were away for 176 nights:. 20 nights in family and/or friends homes (in beds) at no cost.

Our Big African Adventure. Thursday, August 23, 2007. Return to Lusaka Update. In the tranquil surroundings of Wildlife Camp on the banks of the Luangwa River just outside the South Luangwa National Park, Gordon felt better in no time and his headache lifted completely. We enjoyed the camp so much that we ended up spending five nights there. Not only were the ablutions good … lots of hot water and toilet paper! 8217; shouted a young boy furiously waving a flag of tattered plastic strips and ran off in th...

Our Big African Adventure: February 2007

http://ourbigafricanadventure.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html

Our Big African Adventure. Tuesday, February 20, 2007. The long awaited real test of “Klunka” has come and gone and was an overwhelming success. We spent 8 days away in six different locations, each with a different weather pattern which allowed us to expereince how everything worked under the different conditions. We were, however, relieved that both our rooftop and lower tents withstood the onslaught! After a spell under the hairdrier it improved somewhat! After Knysna we started our homeward journey, ...

Blogging for Web Presence: January 2007

http://letsblog07.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html

Blogging for Web Presence. For the UCT Summer School 2007 Blogging Workshop. Thursday, 25 January 2007. Whats one thing you have learnt about blogging? What is your next step as a blogger? Its the second day running with Cape Town temperatures peaking at over 35C. Inland they're well over 45C. We're at maximum fire hazard with firefighters being rushed from one fire to the next. Quite by coincidence the US military has announced a heat-ray gun. Legal and Ethical Issues. Rebecca Blood argues in favour.

Blogging for Web Presence: Our blogs

http://letsblog07.blogspot.com/2007/01/our-blogs.html

Blogging for Web Presence. For the UCT Summer School 2007 Blogging Workshop. Thursday, 25 January 2007. We have serious blogging diversity across this group! Chris explains the difference. Between the truth, lies and bullshit. Kobus asks for discussion of fee structures. And surgical procedures. Darrol tries to get a court order. For the eviction of a defaulting tenant. We are invited to followgrace. Helena wants to write Mc Gregor Subjectively. As a newletter about this semi-mythical town. Transport Pla...

Take it one adventure at a time. Poodles in the Chasing Fireflies Catalog. My friend Jen gets a catalog from Chasing Fireflies. I hadn't heard of this clothing before but they have the cutest dresses and suits for little girls and little boys! Everything is so adorable! Check out this house we found in Virginia - I told Chris it was a bipolar house! It looks pretty much like every other home built in 1956 in Virginia: But then you look at the addition on the back and. In more recent history.

Our Big Adventure In America | This is the place for me to share our experiences and pictures while we're in US and Central America

Our Big Adventure In America. This is the place for me to share our experiences and pictures while we're in US and Central America. July 18, 2013.

Karro & Fiddes äventyr! -

Karro and Fiddes äventyr! 22 maj 2015 @ 10:10.

Our big apple story. 9 may to 23 jul. Saturday, October 28, 2006. This was taken from our hotel room's window. One last look before we headed back. We paid 55usd for a 45mins ride to airport. Talk about cabs being expensive in s'pore. It's nth in comparison. Haha. Shi went to make a call to her parents so left me and qian entertaining ourselves. Hehe You look at qian. So happy when she's reading the tabloid magazine. Look at her when i asked her to do sudoku. LOL. So funny! Time to go in! Compare the 3 o...

Our Big Aussie Road Trip

So what is www.bigaussieroadtrip.com. Well hopefully, by the time we are done, it will be a comprehensive journal about a family of 5 who have travelled around Australia to see the sights and also do some volunteer work around the country! In Mid 2010 we started thinking about what it would take to fulfil a life-long dream. We wanted to bundle up our 3 kids, pack-up the house, jump in the car and hit the road - probably for about 12 months. It sounds so simple . 26 January, 2013. The End of The Road.

Adventures of Big B & Little Miss

Adventures of Big B and Little Miss. Sunday, September 11, 2011. Miss Corinne is 18 months old! Yeah, I took pictures for 17 months, but they were so horrible I'm not going to even bother posting them. The 17 month pics were all of her either taking her hair down or handing me a hair elastic or of her looking generally disagreeable. She's really not liking this whole picture taking deal much anymore! Anyway, here's the best from her 18 month collection:. Laughing, probably at Momma:. Monday, July 18, 2011.
