Keeping the End in Mind: November 2014
http://keepingtheendinmind.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Keeping the End in Mind. Thursday, 20 November 2014. Making a Good Impression. As my friend Abigail. When the same people told me that these were the friends I would keep for the rest of my life, they clearly did not factor in me relocating to another country and a complete failure to achieve standard life accomplishments like starting a family or being professionally successful, or just owning a crockpot. I could just buy one, but I have an aversion to unnecessary kitchen appliances. Well, it took five ...

Keeping the End in Mind: July 2015
http://keepingtheendinmind.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Keeping the End in Mind. Thursday, 9 July 2015. At first it was significant heart problems complicated by a cyst on her bowel. Specialists were called, and the waiting began. As the shock faded, the waiting, at least for me, turned into planning. Only, without a concrete diagnosis, it was planning for potentialities. The what should be for the what could be. Unending and pointless. Then, as plans, in all their possibilities, settled, the parameters changed. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our Box in the Sky.

Keeping the End in Mind: December 2014
http://keepingtheendinmind.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Keeping the End in Mind. Thursday, 25 December 2014. Do you think that there is a point when we stop being the product of our past and start being the person we are meant to be? When we let go of all the junk that we have collected over the years of fallible people and fragile hearts and enjoy who we are and where we are? Apparently, turning thirty is not that point. Keeping the End in Mind: January 2015
http://keepingtheendinmind.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Keeping the End in Mind. Thursday, 1 January 2015. Last Day to Look Back. As it is now January 1st, it is the final day that I can reflect on the year past, the decade past, since it was also the occasion of my thirtieth birthday, and I wouldn't want to miss out on such a writable opportunity. I may have just made that word up, but that is ok. No one expects much on January 1st. Right? I know, stellar plan right there. As it turned out, not only was trying to be low maintenance less of an attractive frie...

Keeping the End in Mind: February 2015
http://keepingtheendinmind.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Keeping the End in Mind. Monday, 23 February 2015. One Day I Will Have A Personal Shopper. You probably think I am exaggerating, but I'm not, about the malls or the cheese. Just ask anyone who has gone shopping with me, assuming they are still talking to me after I put on my grumpy pants in store three and my almost complete shut down hat if I make it past store six.and those are the ones who bring snacks. And here you thought those people scared of elevators were crazy. Tuesday, 3 February 2015. 35 The ...

Keeping the End in Mind: October 2014
http://keepingtheendinmind.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Keeping the End in Mind. Sunday, 26 October 2014. A lot of people, by which I mean more than one, because that is how my people arithmetic works, have been asking me what I do outside of work, which is normally a catalyst for all sorts of self doubt, but apparently I went and got a little more well adjusted lately or something, because even the follow up question of "do you do anything else? Didn't make me over think my life. Is this what being normal is like? It's kind of nice. Tuesday, 21 October 2014.

Keeping the End in Mind: June 2015
http://keepingtheendinmind.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Keeping the End in Mind. Friday, 26 June 2015. I have a niece. She's still being knitted together by the hands of the Father, but I love her. And here is picture of just how amazing I think she is, just in case you needed a point of reference. So we wait, and we hope and and we pray, trusting always in Him who knew us even before He formed us, and who loves my niece more than any of us ever can. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Keeping the End in Mind: Choosing Life
http://keepingtheendinmind.blogspot.com/2015/08/choosing-life.html
Keeping the End in Mind. Wednesday, 12 August 2015. I am a planner. I like taking information and making plans. I especially like making plans that fix things, and I am fairly good at it. Or at least that is what I tell myself, which considering how oh so very logical I am, can only be right.right? My mother, it turns out, is a Google-er of maladies, which any Mom with a new baby can tell you is a terrible idea, but I guess my Mom missed that memo, since Google didn't exist back then. And I was stuck her...

Keeping the End in Mind: May 2013
http://keepingtheendinmind.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Keeping the End in Mind. Tuesday, 7 May 2013. Of course, if I follow the idea of the exile back, I am faced with what God said to the original exiles. Houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce. Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. The peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray. For I know the plans.
