Our Crazy Delightful Family. Sunday, October 24, 2010. At the Pumpkin Patch. We had a fun time picking out pumpkins today at a local pumpkin patch run by the First United Methodist Church. The proceeds benefit a summer camp at the local college here. The girls had a great time at that camp this past summer and we hope to have them and Garrett attend next year. We went to Five Guys Bugers N Fries for dinner and really enjoyed those delicious burgers and huge servings of fries! Such a beautiful young lady.

Our Crazy Delightful Family. Saturday, August 30, 2008. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. I've been all over the school! It's funny to me what kids think is really cool stuff. Garrett started 6th grade in middle school. He's in a self-contained class with 10 or 11 other students with various learning disabilities. He loves, loves, LOVES his classroom! Thursday, August 21, 2008. We had fun dividing up the school supplies and checking off the lists for each kid. The half finished dress. Wednesday, August 20, 2008.

Our Crazy Delightful Family. Friday, November 28, 2008. We had a delicious Thanksgiving meal yesterday. Ben smoked the turkey in his grill and we whipped up some great instant potatoes, gravy and dressing. We bought the pies from WalMart. I love making things quick and easy. The only thing I actually cooked is the sweet potato casserole. It is SO worth the time necessary! And no marshmallows on our sweet potatoes, we put a yummy carmelized topping with pecans on it. We all love it!

This summer, Cami participated in Seussical the Musical. There were about six weeks of practices and four performances during the last week of June. She was a plaid child in the town of Whoville. It was a great experience for her! She really enjoyed performing and did a really good job! The Plaid Family of Whos.

This recipe was inspired by Homemade Mommy. 1/2 c sunflower seed butter. 2 tsp baking powder. Beat eggs in medium bowl. Add bananas, mashing and mixing. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Melt coconut oil in non-stick skillet over low-medium heat. Pour 1/4 c batter per pancake into skillet. Cook until fairly well set up (very little jiggle when skillet is wiggled).
