She wants to be a mathematician when she grows up. And we also have a 2nd grader who knows how things work at school. I almost can't believe I'm posting. Does anyone even follow this blog anymore? It's been hard enough for me to post on the other blog. Sammy turned four last week. His wish was to be a cowboy all day, so his first surprises of the day were a cowboy hat, belt, and bandana to go with his beloved boots. He was in heaven. He also found a gun (train track piece) for his pocket. And a lariat (old piece of homemade rope). Didn't let go of them all day. After naps, we met some friends at the Kidspace Museum.

Adventures in the North Woods. My ENTIRE family just spent six days together, all 21.5 of us. It gets better: we were all together at one of the most incredible places I have ever been: my Uncle Scott's lodge, nestled at the mouth of the Kipawa River on Lake Temiskaming in Quebec.
