Friday, July 24, 2009. Last weekend we hiked up Mica Mountain which isn't all that far from home. I heard people talk about it all the time growing up but hadn't ever been there. Chris loaded about 30 pounds of stuff in his pack to start getting in shape for the hopeful meat-hauling expedition in August. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Our holiday fun started on Christmas Eve. Steph really wanted to take the kids to Locomotive Park and invited the rest of us along. I'm so glad we went! They add more and more lights every year and it was really fun to walk through them all. There were a lot more people than I expected (I guess it's a popular place to go Christmas Eve) but even with the crowds, we really enjoyed it. Here are some general images from the park. This was my favorite tree. The igloo was fun.

Monday, May 11, 2009. Well, as I suspected, I'm not very good at keeping this updated! I opened up my page and was disgusted with all the wintery looking photos. With the sunshine comes a longing to hit the trails so I thought I'd re-do the background to a Glacier National Park scene from last year. The mountains are calling! Two Longs ( 1). Wednesday, July 10, 2013. We are almost caught up to current events. Who'd have thought that possible, eh? Anyway, Ryan and I toured the campus of Princeton now that we live in NJ. What an experience. What a beautiful university! Don't laugh, but many of these pictures made us feel like we'd stumbled into Hogwarts instead of Princeton. The gates of Princeton. Sorry Couldn't resist.). We took a little break in the playroom of the Princeton town Library so that Caden could stretch his legs.
